The fun thing about having kids is that, when you see something cute and crafty on Pinterest, you can make plans to have a "Mommy and me" craft session.
And then, when your child wants nothing to do with your best-laid plans, you can sit down and do it yourself (and snack on mint Oreos).
And you don't have to feel silly, even when you get distracted and spell something wrong, because everyone will assume that you had help.
And your friends will all think you are super-creative and a wonderful mom, when really, you just wanted to copy ideas off the internet and play with potato stamps and googly eyes.

Those are so cute! And love the mint Oreos! (Actually, any kind of Oreo will do...)
Those are super cute!
These are so cute and what a great idea to use the potato as stamps. You are too creative - that is great !!! :)
A great idea even if kiddo does not want to participate.
How on earth did I miss this one? Love it! And it seems that your kiddo does often really get into the crafty projects you present to him.
Those are absolutely adorable. I love them. I haven't done the pinterest thing yet, just because ignorance is bliss, right? But I know my day is coming. And I've started many a crafty project with the kids only to end up finishing it myself, too. : )
Thanks for commenting on my blog. It feels good to be back here again, reading and writing.
And am I reading between all the lines correctly that you are expecting a baby as well? Maybe even a girl if I correctly understood one of your comments on Jess' blog?
