kiddo meets calvin and hobbes
Kiddo had to write a comic strip as part of his homework last night. Only, he didn't know what a comic strip was. I tried to explain it, but I wasn't doing a very good job. So out came my old Calvin & Hobbes books.

one of my favorite calvin moments is when he asks his dad how big the moon is one night, and dad says, "well," holding up his thumb to the moon, "it's as big as my thumb, wouldn't you say?" Calvin runs inside with the news to tell his mom. His mom says something like, "have you been talking to your dad again?" :)
Tell him to come to Grandpa's house. We have lots of Calvin books.
Looks like he was having lots of fun! :)
Oh, goodness he looks like he's enjoying it! Calvin and Hobbes is one of my favs. :)
