(have you ever seen an infant car seat in an Amish buggy??)
We headed to Strasburg, where we took a ride on the train...
And then we drove down the road a bit to Cherry Crest Farm, where we ate yummy pulled pork sandwiches for lunch, raced rubber ducks...
visited the animals at the petting farm...
and then headed into the 5-acre corn maze!
(they give you a flag as you enter the maze so that you can wave it wildly and be rescued if you decide you've had enough)
(getting another piece of our map - although a map didn't help us a whole lot, as we were missing some key pieces that we never found)
We didn't wave our flag, but we did use the "telephone tube" to ask for directions to the shortcut exit after we had been in the maze for over an hour...
And eventually, we made it through!
There were several activities that we planned on checking out after the maze, but Kiddo was hot, tired, and covered in bug bites, so we called it a day and headed home. We are looking forward to going back...we had a wonderful day!

Wow! What an awesome day!
Love the Amish pics and the train too.
You really have a great time as a family!
Thanks, Cathryn! What I DIDN'T post about was the near-meltdown that Kiddo had right after the corn maze. We bolted for the car before he made a scene in front of everyone. Not every moment is fun. :)
